I should warn you – this website is in advanced beta stage. I’m also literally sitting in an airport waiting lounge right now typing this up as I’m about to fly to Edmonton for 3 days of party and relaxation with the person who actually coded this whole website, so I’ll make this quick.
I’ve got a million things still to do on Affiliate Bible to make it optimal for all computers, and there’s a to do list of about 100 design tweaks I need to do, so if you encounter any errors – yeah don’t worry, we’ll get it all sorted!
Why The Change:
There’s a funny story about the domain which I’ll tell at a later date. However poker affiliates are diversifying into other areas these days, and I wanted to keep up with that. I initially was going to have various affiliate bible websites for every topic, however at the end of the day I decided to put everything on one humongous website.
Interesting Design:
This was a tough one – I was very tempted to go with the standard and rather bland business style design you see other websites do. However at the end of the day I wanted this to be a nice brandable website – something that is easily remembered by everyone. There’s still a lot of tweaks and neat stuff we are going to be doing with it, so expect a lot of changes over the next little while.
I’ll also be studying my Clicktale stats religiously over the next couple of weeks, and be modifying things based on that.
You Can Comment Now:
Yes for the first time ever – you can leave comments on articles at Affiliate Bible. This is only for blog posts for the time being, and it was also a last minute addition so it may not work too great right now or look too pretty. As soon as I return from Edmonton I’ll be playing with comments plugins and making it all snazzy and awesome.
What’s New:
Well for one – the majority of articles are now in the General & SEO Affiliate Bible. All these articles will cover practically everything related to affiliate marketing – so no matter what you’re promoting, that should be your first stop.
I also have topics for specific niches like poker. These will be put in those categories, like the Poker Affiliate Bible and will be specific to poker affiliates and so on.
There’s also some new articles written for the website which weren’t on Poker Affiliate Bible. These include:
