TGIM?

On Saturday I was all pumped. After a 3 week battle with bronchitis, I was feeling better. 100% or close to it. I was all set for today, where I was gonna work like a madman, and get right back on track.

I remember sitting back and visualizing it on Saturday. With the cold weather coming in, I thought Monday would be the perfect day to start my “hot chocolate in the morning” routine. Wake up, make some hot chocolate, sit outside in the cold wind and drink it and then get my day started right with a blood-pumping, mind motivating TGIM!

I even bought the small marshmallows!

Then Sunday rolled around, and my brother in law asked if I wanted to go to the bar to watch some football. It started off okay:

Just the way I like to spend my Sundays. Beer, wings and 5 TVs to watch every game that’s currently being played.

Unfortunately, it didn’t stop there. We decided to buy a pitcher to “save money”. We then decided to buy the biggest pitcher there because we’d save $2.

$2 saved got us this:

And unfortunately that big pitcher led to this:

And this:

Which ultimately led to this:

(I blacked out)

And of course, the famous quote every man makes when they wake up with a hangover:

So the work will have to wait.

I’m going back to laying on the couch, curled up in the fetal position…

Fuck work.
