Online Content Research Tools

The reason I wanted you to come up with ideas on your own in regard to content is that you won’t be restricted in any way, and you’ll think outside the box.  You actually have to work to come up with content ideas, and with the creativity flowing, you can come up with great ideas for content.

Now that you have a list of content, it’s time to add more with some online content research tools.  For this example, we’ll say that our website is going to be about Roulette systems.  Onto the content research tools:

Your Competition: Learning from your competition is one of the smartest things you can do.  Type in a phrase like “Roulette Systems” then open up the first 30 results. Look at all the content they have, and start incorporating it all into your list of potential content.  If you see an article more than once then make sure to note that as it is a strong indication that is a popular topic or search term.

Forums: Find internet forums that cover the topic of your website, and look for ideas there.  I searched the 2+2 Gambling Forums for the phrase “roulette”, and found topics on “UK Late Night Roulette” and “Best way to double money in roulette”.  There’s just two examples of articles you could add to your website, and these are topics that people are actually discussing online, so we know there is at least some interest in those topics.

Google Keyword Tool: The google keyword tool can come up with some good ideas to expand your website.  I typed in “roulette system” and got ideas on “banned roulette systems”, “ultimate roulette system” and “roulette secrets”, to name just three ideas.

Wordtracker: Wordtracker costs money, but boy is it worth it.  They have a free trial that you can take, and the amount of information that is offered is phenomenal.  All you have to do is put on a main keyword like “roulette systems”, and you’ll get ideas like “roulette systems for apple” and “roulette sniper system guide”. The lists at Wordtracker are practically unlimited, and will give you tons of ideas. Sign up for a free trial.

Okay – whew.  By this point I think we’re good for content.  If you’re eager and working hard, you might have over 200-300 actual article ideas by now.  We’re close to getting our website going, but there’s just one more thing I need to mention….
